I'm quite busy with other things than GFY nowadays, would have missed this thread, but someone sent it to me.

Not sure what I can say, Wroclaw and Krakow are two cities in Poland where the UK guys are coming for weekends (often to bachelors parties) to enjoy the cheap beer and trying to pick up polish girls. I guess just go to the city centre and you'll have enough pubs/clubs to chose from.

I was in Krakow 2 years ago, amazing city. My idea was not to go to the pubs for beer, but visit some interesting places. The best of all I guess is salt's cave. Everything there is made from salt. There is museum of salt's figures. We spent there about 2 hours and it was really great.

Very nice indeed. When I booked it, I actully looked blindly, i wasnt even 100% sure it was in poland, but wanted an adventure so took a stab at it. Turns out though from what you have said and what it says on wikipedia that its a pretty nice city. I was kind of thinking one of the east european cities with just high rise block flats and loads of gang warfare, but wroclaw should be fun!

We got to find some cheap youth hostels now, but i wont be needing one of them, i will find me a nice polish girl's house to stay round .

nice poland seems like a pretty nice all round place, im always sceptical as there are alot of eastern europeans in england and they all seem like really depressed, but i think poland has a pretty nice culture about it.
