Sure just submerge them is a beverage full of citric and other acids, then toss in plenty of sugar to boot. They may live a few more seconds if you add the water to the powder.

My oscar died so I left the feeder fish in there chillen with no oxygen or food. It has been probably 6 months, there is hardly any water left (whats left is disgusting) and the little fuckers are still swimming around.
