Do you like the Pet Shop Boys or do u think their music is gay?

Euro disco songs like "Always On My Mind" and "Its A Sin".

I love it. It reminds me of my childhood. Do you like it?

It's gay. Who cares. You might also like "Flamboyant", they did that one just a couple of years ago.

The only thing gayer would be if they spelled it Boyz.

Their song "Absolutely Fabulous" is my favorite of theirs, but it's 100% gay. They shout out a bunch of major designers and it totally makes me want to "vogue".

Gay or suicidal? Someof the most depressing lyrics ever.

"It's A Sin"

(Twenty seconds and counting...
T minus fifteen seconds, guidance is okay)
??
When I look back upon my life
It's always with a sense of shame
I've always been the one to blame
For everything I long to do
No matter when or where or who
Has one thing in common, too

It's a, it's a, it's a, it's a sin
It's a sin
Everything I've ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place I've ever been
Everywhere I'm going to
It's a sin

At school they taught me how to be
So pure in thought and word and deed
They didn't quite succeed
For everything I long to do
No matter when or where or who
Has one thing in common, too

It's a, it's a, it's a, it's a sin
It's a sin
Everything I've ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place I've ever been
Everywhere I'm going to
It's a sin

Father, forgive me, I tried not to do it
Turned over a new leaf, then tore right through it
Whatever you taught me, I didn't believe it
Father, you fought me, 'cause I didn't care
And I still don't understand

So I look back upon my life
Forever with a sense of shame
I've always been the one to blame
For everything I long to do
No matter when or where or who
Has one thing in common, too

It's a, it's a, it's a, it's a sin
It's a sin
Everything I've ever done
Everything I ever do
Every place I've ever been
Everywhere I'm going to - it's a sin
It's a, it's a, it's a, it's a sin
It's a, it's a, it's a, it's a sin

I gotta say the most depressing some I've ever heard was "Asleep" by The Smiths.

I think this song is about being gay and the homosexual lifestyle being a sing against religion... He's saying everything he did has been a sin because he was gay

I like the beat of that song, it sounds "euro" and "happy"... The beat sounds pretty awesome, especially when you blast it while driving

Shit Brenda Lee's first version I never recall hearing but the Elvis & Willie Nelson version were lots better. It's too upbeat and electronic. Don't get me wrong I'm a total Cure & Depeche Mode fan, but hell Pet Shop Boys "Always on My Mind" was just total SHIT!

I watched the Elvis version on Youtube a few hours ago. To be honest, I didn't even know it was a cover, I thought it was an original Pet Shop Boys song...

I like upbeat electronic stuff, its very Euro, makes me feel like I'm in Europe again.

Yea but "Always On My Mind" isn't suppose to be a upbeat song and even though I like "Euro" upbeat music, especially Depeche Mode, from what I heard of the Pet Shop Boys "Always On My Mind" I can't stand it!

I would say it is a pretty safe interpretation.
Still depressing however...

Eurasure follows along the same lines.

The lyrics are depressing but not the music.. did you listen to the song? it sounds happy and disco-like, euro disco dancing music, sounds rather upbeat with the beat and everything

You wanna hear good music, listen to Flogging Molly, oh wait, that's Irish music, you probably despise it

Im listening to their song "drunken lullabies" right now, I don't really like it. It does sound happy but I like more pop stuff...

I also listened a bit to "Devils Dance Floor", it sounds like something that you should drink a lot of alcohol to listen to, like pub music I guess...

I will admit, I had never heard their music before, so I went to Google and checked out the first two YouTube videos that came up.

I can not believe the question was even asked. Even more surprised at the number of people here that listen to them.

I think I was able to listen to a combined 20 seconds before I just had to close the window.
