its hardly a big crime i mean they get a few weeks for drink driving where they could kill somone surly a fine would have been the best thing surly is going to cost thousands to put him in prison surly if he was not in prison he would be earning a ton of cash, ie more tax money

You have to think of it like the mafia, because both are a form of ownership/extortion... they even say outright that they have to "make an example" of Snipes in order to intimidate people into line.
