shit, I wish i did, if i worked in the living room, i might actually use my HDTV, 6 months old and been used maybe 20 times, never seen a single tv show on it, only DVDs LOL... i keep everything (business related) in the office (locked door) after getting out of the apt lifestyle...

now with a house if im not in the office, I am in the yard in the garden... lots of vegetables this year, organic vegetable gardening is my new hobby...... weird moving from LA-living to the South and relaxing and living the outdoor life a little while having the internet pay for your home :)

gas prices? They dont bother me anymore, gas is much cheaper down here than in California

We gotta get up one day man. Glad you're getting into the "Southern Groove". Planting some organics this weekend myself with the missus. :thumbsup

Half your fuel bill, drive a more economical car.

I will agree that most do not need gas guzzling trucks. I also do not live in Southern Cali, I live on opposite side of state right under Oregon. Very different demographic and many trucks around here do see dirt and even snow. Other big differences is wages suck in comparison to down south, with about only thing being cheaper is actual housing.

Personally I wish I could just get a more economical car. I already had to add some 14k in additional equipment just to drive my vehicle and that is above the cost at dealership. I am sort of stuck with dealing with a van like it or not. My days of using a car are long gone as I am just to old for that much bending and then having zero room to store anything beyond my chair and maybe 1 passenger.

Then we also have one full size truck that is rarely driven, then some smaller trucks that are driven about 60 miles per day each on average with them pulling heavy loads on trailers. Then add in about 14 pieces of mostly 2 cycle engine equipment that is ran daily with about 3 hours usage for each of them. Passing so much onto customers is possible, yet we are screwed on most of our commercial accounts this year that were bid mid last year. They all pay a fixed yearly rate and that rate was set about a year ago.

I paid over $100 to fill up my Tundra the other day with regular unleaded. Luckily I only drive a few times a month.

gas prices are up like 15 cents since 4 days ago when i filled up previously ... 30 cents off 4 dollars!

Soon.. my engine that runs on urine shall be complete! Just a couple more test runs... I don't know how many more gallons of Gatorade I can drink...

baddog 04-24-2008 06:07 PM

It cost me almost $15 to fill up my bike the other day.

That's not bad at all. How many miled do you get out of a full tank on your hog? just curious.

Yesterday it took over $14 bucks to 2/3rds fill my 5-gallon can for the lawnmower (@ $1.20/litre). :Oh crap

The dude at the gas station says, "Don't you have a hybrid lawnmower?"

Evidently he's appearing in the Starlight Lounge doing stand-up all week.

Gas costs less than bottled water or beer.

Yippie, I get water from my faucet and I do not go through that many gallons of beer a week. I am fairly certain I do not even go through a gallon of beer a month.
