Fuck I hate that. In tropical areas ants get into everything. They are everywhere and I hate each and every one of them.

With that said, I do eat them on occasion on purpose. Some of the street stalls in Thailand have steamed and salted ants. Yummy.

Happened to me twice when I lived in Florida. Once with small ants, wasn't that bad. Another time with big healthy ants... you feel the chunks going down your throat. Then I accidentally chewed one of the big ones too. Fucking horrible.

Bugs in general are very rich on proteins that does not make it any less disturbing though.

I just get paranoid that they'll be like carrying out team missions on my throat and shit like that making me suffocate from ant bites

we have that one too here (philippines)

we call it jumping salad (live shrimps with vinegar, onions, gingers, hot chilli)

best with gin and green mango salad
