Why would you hire a designer without looking at their portfolios? That is, after all, why designers have portfolios.

Well many are Fake, and none of the work in them is really done by someone that will do yours in the first place. I did look, but this job was so easy, and just a few hour thing I did not care all that much. :helpme

Yes he only paid $25 but you agreed to $25.. You are in the wrong with sending back clips that look like that.. you kno in your mind they are useless...

Also rotating a movie clip like that is going to degrade the quality a lot.

I am talking to my designer now and he is explaining to me what the issues are... Here is a paste from the convo..

If Max would just be nice about things and talk to me instead of trying to smear me everywhere the issues could be fixed...

BTW I have found someone to Totaly redo this job, and they are working on it now :)

Looks OK to me. Maybe the quality of the footage could be improved is the source footage is clearer? What are you giving this guy to work with?

If that footage is even 3 times compressed its gonna look like shit no matter what is done to it.

Just up the output quality on the export Jon maybe thats the problem?
May result in a bigger file.

I am not taking sides in this dispute cause there is always two stories but one thing that hits me as strange is if you as a business take a clients work it really shouldn't matter what the job pays each clients should get the same treatment and quality work...

they are not, to them, the clients get what they paid for
