Finally a problem not caused by humans!

I've heard several people say that the widening use of cell phones is something that negatively affects bees.

Anyone else hear that?

Its obvious by the posts in this thread as to why we are in this situation. Most of us wont have to worry too much about it, but when you wake up and realize you care about what your kids will do, well thats a different story.

I got a vasectomy when I was 28 because I knew that if I had kids they would have horrible lives, and if not them their kids would

What I am reading is Pure Bullshit, the Bee's are not gone they are all at my fucking house.

Are they HONEY bees? Sure other bees and animals may be able to pick up on the pollenation slack but can they make honey? No. Do you realize what the price of homey will go up to if there is a reducing in honey bees? Do you realize how much of your food contains at least some honey? Food prices are already going through the roof without some extra cost added into shit.

Nope.

But that's ok. Nature's got something else up it's sleeve for ye. :winkwink: Not enough fresh water to support the planet's growing population, and the dwindling oil/energy supply. The next "World War" will be over natural resources.

:2 cents:

Yeah... it's a generally accepted as a real possibility.

That's what I was thinking of when I mentioned that we probably need to research our affect on bee populations, and, if we're affecting them adversely and something can (relatively) easily be done about it - I'm all for doing whatever.

We certainly don't pick up after ourselves enough as it is, imho.

But, that said, I think that "bees die, we die" is a bit over the top.
