i've installed it, updated, checked the "show side bar", clicked the button on forum display and the thread list side bar has popped up but it's blank :(

when i was moving around the different threads, it at one stage showed threads, then when i reloaded the browser it's gone again. i'm running firefox 2.0.0.14.

also (asuming it starts working properly) how do i set it up so it's to the right instead of left?

pretty damn cool though if it was working..

Do you go to any other forums besides gfy? Try it there as well.
I've found that sometimes it takes a while for the threads to show up with GFY simply because GFY's servers can take a long time sometimes.
So if you try it on another board and it works, that means it's just GFY. Try it again when GFY is loading normally (when ever that is) and it should work fine.

As for moving the side bar, that's possible in Firefox but I believe it's something that needs to be done on start up. Firefox reads a CSS just like webpages do to get it's placements for everything. So that needs to be changed and then have it reloaded.

Let me check into it a bit more and if I can make it happen, I'll including that in my next update.

I'm trying to use this on a board that uses vBulletin Version 3.6.5 and it won't work.

I can't give a guarantee that it'll work on every site out there using vbulletin, simply because the message board is so customizable that I could never account for every possible variation of the templates.

Some people have simply screwed with the templates so much that I could never have my extension work with every single one.

However, if you send me the url to that board, I'll see what I can do.

the bar at the bottom will show up once the forum or thread is loaded completely. On the main forum you will have the extra option to side bar the threads list like in the pic above. When you're in a thread the SideBar Thread List goes away so you can only use that on the main forum page where it shows all the threads.

I'm refering to the IGNORE features. I couldn't care less about the other features.

Ok. well that worked for me also.
I ignored the admin and his thread disappeared. Then I ignored the "galloway123" person and his post disappeared.

Can you give me an example of who you're ignoring and in which thread?
I'm unable to replicate the problem.

OK this is weird if I import my ignore list on vbff then remove them from the ignore list on the site it works.

Ah.... ok. I've never tried to see if a person's posts would be removed if they're already on the vb ignore list.
Let me check into that today. I should be able to make it remove their ignored posts as well.

Latest update 0.86

- Now strips out the "this message hidden because" box so ignored people in vb are also extra ignored in the FfVb extension.
- Can now flip the sidebar to the left OR right side of the screen. Go to the extensions preferences ("Tools" > "VBulletin Management..."), select Left or Right in the drop down, restart Firefox and your sidebar will be on the side you choose.
- Also, ignored threads/users will now be ignored out of the sidebar thread list as well.

:thumbsup
