Canadian Tax Question - Dealing with GST

It's almost tax time and I have a quick question about how you guys deal with GST.

When you get an affiliate cheque from a Canadian company you should charge them GST, however that does not happen because you simply get your cheque each pay period. But when doing your taxes you have to pay 5% of all services rendered for Canadian companies....

Furthermore, if you get a payment from Gallery Traffic Services, and they broker your traffic and the client is not Canadian based you shouldn't have to pay GST because you are providing a service to a non-Canadian firm right?

How do you guys deal with this?
I'm going to see my accountant tomorrow and see what he has to say. In the past I just paid the GST but this year there is a bit more $ and I don't want to give away that 5% if I don't have to.

Thanks in advance!

I'm not sure about GTS but in general you only have to pay GST if your earnings from canadian companies exceed 30,000 per year.

if you get money from states and you don't charge members yourself ( ie. sending traffic to generate sign ups) you shouldn't have to pay GST ... company that bills your signups pay, thats how I understand it

Do I need to register for GST (Goods and Services Tax)?
While you are not required to register for GST until your annual gross revenues exceed a minimum threshold (currently $30,000) we generally recommend that any business register as soon as possible.

Mandatory registration

You have to register for GST/HST when you no longer qualify as a small supplier because your total worldwide taxable supplies of goods and services exceed the small supplier limit of $30,000 in a single calendar quarter or in four consecutive calendar quarters.

That one is directly from the cocksuckers site ..... I had my dealings with them ... Once I did a settlement with my bankruptcy syndic sitting beside me ... as well as a bank draft with no name .... Asked them who should i put ...? Revenue Canada or Lapointe & Lapointe bankruptcy syndic .... As good hoes, they took the draft....
