Not to divert from the shouting match, but Bush has done a few sneaky things to further the CC cause.

He cut US funding to the UN for overseas programs who support/recognize abortion. He managed to get a few diehard pro-lifers into his administration, or had you forgotten about our ATTORNEY GENERAL?

When the Pledge was hot debate on the Hill, Bush led the pack with the stunning remark:

President Bush this morning saying that the decision is "out of step" with the country's history. "America is a nation ... that values our relationship with the Almighty," Bush said. "We need commonsense judges who understand that our rights were derived from God."

We do? They were? This is the man the United States is letting speak on our behalf. Anyone claiming this administration or any future Republican admin. does not have the power to reverse Roe v. Wade need only look at the 2000 election. The Supreme Court votes its party (vis. the liberal NJ Supreme Court ruling on election law), add another pro-life judge or two and things will change drastically.

Sheesh... I new he was a totally ingnorant hypocrite asshole and liar within 10 days of him taking office, - but that makes ya throw up. If that is actually a fair estimation (which I doubt!) of what level the US has reached, - there ain't any hope.

Sure as hell he did not write that shit - just incapable and an idiot for accepting the wording. Suppose it beats his usual dribbling utterances and rhetoric.

For God's sake US.. open your eyes and get some leadership!

Time for a "regime change"! This time in the US which is now no more than another "rogue state"! :BangBang:

Some kinda balance and getting rid of the blinkers would be a good start... How Bush ever got half-elected in the first instance is way beyond me. They guy was not even qualified to do fuck all - he must be the least qualified leader the the western world.
Suppose that is how he is being treated now, wot more can ya expect.

He is one walking disaster area for the US, which is damned sad and does not any credit whatsoever to that country.

Excuse my typos.. there are crap as well!:Graucho

He's VERY qualified to suck the cock of Texas oil billionaires and to lick the arse of the far-right religious loonies.

Bush is owned lock, stock and fucking barrel.

Democracy does not work anymore because it is a government picked by the people. People are stupid and easily influenced with dazzling lights and fancy words. I think a democracy would be a good thing in a nation where they people were even remotely halfway intelligent, but this is the USA we are talking about.

This country needs a good old fashioned despot. A fascist regime to clean out the filth and the idiots.

And I can already hear the kneejerker anus slamming shut from here, but before you start spouting off words like nazi and bigot, learn what fascism is before you speak. I dont care what Lil Kim told you on the mtv black history month psa.

Yep.. the "Washington Cheerleader Club" is made up of nuthing but greedy assholes with heavily vested interests and trying *very* hard to distract from any relevant issues, apart from "wars" on whoever is handy.

I keep wondering when he will get off his ass and actually do some work instead of purporting to do it. EG.. While on "vacation" during the summer, he managed to spare an afternoon to have a "conference" (another PR excercise!) on the economy. Apart from only listening (but, hell.. he would not understand em anyway!), to a chosen few, the asshole has implemented nothing from that meeting. He just *don't know* and, I genuinely believe he is just totally incapable.

Look forward to the second half of his term with more "wars" to keep the "distraction" going. (And an never ending emptying of the coffers!)

The US has been literally hijacked by an idiot President and a .. whatever the colllective noun is for... a herd of leeches :-)

His behavior is a disgrace... tis a shame, by his inability and non-action he is fucking up the US. Rest assured when he departs, there is gonna be one massive load of shit to clean up....

"Passionate conservative" and "Christian man"? Never hear such a load of utter crap! :BangBang:

Who is capable of cleaning the US of the "filth and the idiots"?
Who is objective enough?

Oh if only we were a true democracy, but alas we're a democratic republic. Theoretically (and I emphasize that heavily) a dictatorship is the ideal form of government.

I'm sick of the nonsense however, I think Howard Dean is looking good even if he's a Babbitt candidate in reality. I'd like to have a doctor running the country, rather than a businessman. And few can claim Vermont isn't progressive.

Libertarians ... please. Just what we need in this country, less control over the populace.
