I'm looking into google checkout myself. After being on ebay since shortly after it launched, I'm finally moving completely away from the ebay/paypal evil. anyone got any dirt on google checkout?

I was thinking the same but we need to be able to let the users pay using pay pal or credit/debit cards as most of them use this.

The reason I am asking this is because pay pal just sent us this email (below)and all we are doing is selling point packs for an online text based mafia game,the only thing I can think of is because you can buy "hookers" which is just part of the game. There is no nudity what so ever and buying hookers just makes the players "mafia money"
We now have money in this account which we cannot get out for 180 days and have players who want to purchase point packs and most players use pay pal.

Well I dont belive it..After sending paypal an email asking them to look at the site and as no user agreement and acceptable use policy was actually broken and also saying it would be a shame for us and our users to change over to Google check out, they have unlocked the account and this was all done in a matter of one day with no hassles at all.
I have heard so many storys about pay pal locking peoples accounts and keeping money for 180 days I really could not belive how quick they responded and unlocked the account.

whats wrong with good ol' high risk merchant accounts. No paypal BS
