Server Monitoring Service? - GoFuckYourself.com

Anyone know of a server monitoring service that will check your servers for ping, http, and mysql to see if it's up and notify you by email or text message or something if they're down?

I tried Choker's betterbeup.com service, and in the last 24 hours it's sent me over 100 emails saying my site(s) weren't responding or weren't up but as far as I could tell nothing was wrong with them. So I'm looking for something better

I have been searching for a service like this also, are there any that will monitor unlimited sites for one price?

I'm a "do it yourself" kind of guy. I use Monit. I haven't had a monitored machine down (for more than seconds) in years.
