    Is it legal to drop off US postal mail to a second party to put in your mail box?

    The US Postal service drops my mail in bulk and leaves it to hired security guards to dispense.

    My mail is always a day or two late, because they take their sweet time. Is this legal?

          Well the good thing for you is you can not sue the USP very easily but you sure as hell can sue the security guard company if something really bad happens to your mail.

          I do not know if that is legal or not.
