Another quick update.... well, 2 actually.
First of all, I fixed a glitch where the bottom table, including new thread, page numbers and quick reply would be gone if the ignore list was empty. Huge thanks to uno for catching that. Secondly, I added a sub menu that's fixed to the bottom of the browser. Be default, it's off. But if you'd like to have handy access to your User CP, New Thread and New Reply links, go to the options/preferences and check the box and presto, you get a small, handy menu no matter where in the thread or forum display you are. This is ver 0.61. :thumbsup |

I got .60 to install but you posted
"Go to the user ignore list in VB and click on the "Import Ignore List to Extension" button and your vbulletin list will be magically imported into the extension for you." Where is the ""Import Ignore List to Extension"" button at? |
never mind I found it. Thanks. Maybe I'll start using FF more often now.

A lot of changes were made to vbulletin for 3.7... it sucks but I can't spend time making it work for older versions :( |
If you have a user in your ignore list will this extension also ignore their threads, as well as posts? I've begged for that feature.
BTW, I read the thread and did not pick up on that feature so if I missed it I apologize. Nice work... |

Much like DamageX's board. Having my plug recognize a vbulletin site without conventional file names (forumdisplay.php, showthread.php) is in my to do list, it's just not as easy as you'd think, since every board modifies their templates heavily. |
So, I see.
Whatever the case it's still a kickass add-on for the vast majority of vB sites. :thumbsup Quote:

ver 0.70 Now works on VBulletin sites using inline HTML file naming structure. :thumbsup |
This sounds like a bit of work for something that is only mildly useful (I mean to code this thing)... but I guess if you have ton of free time to kill then that's great :thumbsup

It's just your basic javascript DOM manipulation of the HTML source. Find a common element, work off that and you're good to go. Although, I'm sure that more involved extensions are a lot more complicated. I'm not ready for those yet. |
:2 cents: The single best feature?
Since it's a browser directive the site content is filtered without the need for the user to be logged in. |
