Where to buy Best Custom Already Built Desktop PC?

Asking for a friend...

Something like http://alienware.com/

Or is it better to build it custom and go one by one.. i was gonan say this but seeing how prices are dropping for everything might be a good time to save sometime and have it already built and ready to ship.

What you think any cool sites ?

There's probably some little shop where you live building them right now. They'll even support them if/when the time comes.

Agreed. I would recommend asking around locally. There is some super geek doing them.

I almost bought from alienware, but their systems were just not set up like I wanted, and they offered so few sections. I ended up going to ibuypower.com, but I would not recommend them. Their system is solid, but their support sucks major balls.

newegg.com I hear is good.

I have built my own from the ground up before. However, now a days I simply do not have the time or patience. I would rather pay someone else to build me a machine to my specs, and support it.

Last I checked, none of those places are building them...like I mentioned in my suggestion.

I'm talking about someone who figured out they can make a buck building computers. You can and probably find a few within 15 minutes of your house. They are everywhere, you just have to look.

Local is best. Then if there are issues you have support at hand.

Locally here we have a place called http://www.infotechnow.com/

They do custom orders online also.

There are 3 gaming desktops in my household that they've done in the last couple of years. ...

Funny .. I have the oldest computer and laptop of anyone in my immediate family.

I just built a new i7 overclocked to 4ghz for about $1200(I already had video card). It's the fastest machine I've ever had, and I keep on top of that shit(3D animation).

If you want a Newegg parts list of the components I used, let me know.

Avoid Alienware unless you don't care about money. Their rigs are overpriced.

Build your own rig using 2 websites: http://www.tomshardware.com and http://www.newegg.com. Lurk on the forums in Toms Hardware, ask questions, etc. Buy everything from newegg. You can build an uber gaming rig for $1,500 easy.

Not bad. They have an i7 920 rig for 1200 bucks.

The 965 is overpriced, though. You can boost the 920 to a 965 with some overclocking.

I got a Systemax from Tigerdirect.com and its treated me well so far.

3 or 4 year in home repair service plan and youve got nothing to worry about

They make great machines, but they're just as overpriced as Alienware, imo.
