I'm supposed to go to Maui (lahaina) Thursday for a week and the forecast on weather.com shows "showers" for most of the days I'm there. Does that mean it could possibly rain all day? I've never been there so advice would be appreciated.

Im currently in Maui and it was overcast this morning but the clouds cleared about 1pm local time. Also depends on the part of the island. Always dryer near Wailea. -
depends on where you are...Maui is kinda unique in that for a place so small it has very widely varied weather patterns. In the Io Valley for instance it rains almost constantly yet not even ten miles away more than a daily shower is rare. In the tourist areas the weather is pretty moderate never seen more than a shower that always clears up
