This year is bad ... I've lived in the desert for 10 years and my allergies just started to bother me last year and have gotten progressively worse this year.
I moved from Arizona and my allergies were bad there but, I just found out that I am alergic to the entire state of Texas. Ugh.
Texas should be its own country.
I am in Arizona now and I grew up in Buffalo where my allergies were horrible and when I came to AZ they didn't bother me until the last couple of years.
The birch allergy is now bad in Austria. Next week I fly to Puerto Rico and other Southern Caribbean islands for 3 weeks. This is better than taking pills!

Dr Phil had on a woman today who was allergic to her husbands sperm. No kidding.
At one point, they removed her tonsils because they thought she had tonsilitis.
How'd his sperm get in there?
I've heard from friends that this is indeed a horrible allergy season! Stay well people.
Mine are real bad this yr, growing up in Kansas and getting allergies...out of no where at the age of 30 yrs old, I moved to Vegas 2 yrs ago and was fine....Now this damn spring crap is killing me and I cleaned up the back yard the last two day's.
There was pollen everywhere, I could see it while spraying the deck down. It's floating on top of the pool water. The 1 thing that really help's is a warm mist vaporizer. Bring on the 110 degree weather.

Benadryl or nose sprays that you get with prescription from your dr. always works well but yah allergies suck.
Guess it's all the wet weather we had this year. Everything is growing and blossoming.
I'm having the worst allergies of my life. It actually turned into an upper respiratory infection for a few days, but I stamped that out pretty quick. Living with allergies sucks, but luckily it's no unbearable.
what sucks for me is almost every allergy medication I've tried makes me either drowsy, loopy or in the case of Benadryl, have difficulty breathing...the cure is almost worse than the problem
Allergies are very debilitating. I used to wake and sneeze 20 to 30 times in a row. That was me fucked for the day then with a punding headache, watery, swollen eyes, and itchy throat and general listlessness. They can really sap the energy out of you.

I was born in England, but moved to America in 2000...
Never had so much as a sniff of sneeze in the good old US of A...
Returned to the UK in 2007... Now, EVERY MORNING I sneeze and sneeze and sneeze till I puke... Literally...
Roll on my return 'Home'...
I used to have problems from early March until late summer every year. Worst for me is grass and tree pollens, but fun thing.. I used to live in Texas and was allergic to mesquite (loads of fun).
Several years ago, my doctor gave me two week trials of Allegra, Claritin and Zyrtec (before any of them had over the counter versions). He told me one would do me better than the others. I did two weeks on one, then a week off, then the second, etc. It was the Zyrtec that did the trick.
Then instead of taking it just during allergy season he had me take it all year for about 2 years. During allergy seasons he had me add a Chlortrimitron each day. I went off them at least 3 or 4 years ago and haven't had a problem since.

My mom and a couple of my friends are miserable right now. Luckily, I don't have to deal with all that, but it's strange seeing them all seem so sick. It even causes my mom's asthma to act up. They can all tell exactly when certain things start blooming, way before I even notice it.

You are right... TX should be its own country. In fact it kinda sorta is
Allergies here in central TX as I understand it is one of the worst places to be in. April is always a bad month for me...
On a positive note though... when I went to Phx last week, I felt complete relief... my skin, sinuses, etc. cleared up right away.
