This is why those fences are important.

You obviously missed my earlier post. Pay particular attention to the second paragraph.

As an addition and response, the fences aren't everywhere, they are only at busy areas or crossings where they are known to be hazardous. Along migratory trails or along ruts are usually where you will see them. Ive made the drive dozens of times and it really has not ruined the view.

Like everything else out there, there is a time and a place.

looks like this isn't going to be too too expensive.
Tracked down and ordered a used hood (already in my color), rebar and rad support for $300, a headlight for $120, a bumper for $200 and airbags for $800. Just need to sort out a fender now and get the inner fender pulled and i'm good to go.

believe me, it could be much much worse with boar!

you were quite lucky

I just spoke to the firefighters that took the boar away, as I have a few friends there. They gave the thing to some meat guy to make sausage. I'll be getting a few kg once he's done...it better be fucking good, because its the most expensive sausage i ever intend to eat.

I used to have a done to the nuts GSXR1100 and was driving to work one evening .. it was foggy as hell and i was following a big panel van ..assuming if he hit something o would have a "blocker" at least .. All of a sudden he cranked hard left to the passing lane and out of nowhere there was a great big leather armchair/recliner I had absolutely NO time to go either way ..plus it was a bit damp out.. I hit the chair dead on center and it basically EXPLODED like a bomb went off all around me .. i was wearing boots and my leathers .. parts hit my legs and feet .. i didn't go down and was kind of in shock over the whole thing .. I continued on another couple miles and when i finally went to make a right onto a road i was needing to turn at .. the bike wobbled all over i brought it to a stop and checked out what had happened .. it actually pancaked the rim and blew off the lowers .. the tire stayed in an inflated size because of rotating inertia .. pretty cool .. and ICBC the local insurance company even covered all repairs after an argument as to who's fault it was by me arguing that if the owner of the chair had stayed it would have been their fault.. and in the same vein ..if another driver had got the owners license plate they still would have been at fault . and that just because I nor anyone else had the owners ID it wasn't my fault .. I won the file ..

Many years ago I had an acquaintance that had recently finished therapy to learn to walk again before I met him. He had spent a year in a full body cast.

Apparently, he was riding his dirt bike in the desert when he jumped over a sand dune only to come crashing down into a refrigerator / freezer that someone had dumped out there.

I used to live in Vancouver, ICBC is always gay. They absolutely love 50/50s and make everything as absolutely difficult as possible.
