People in Montreal are freaking out right now. Maybe a little too early, but the Habs do look like they have the stuff to do it. The playoffs are a bit of a marathon though. 16 wins required to win it all. That's the hardest any team in any sport needs to work to win a championship.
I'm prediction a Montreal Canadiens vs. Detroit Red Wings final.
Red Wings win it in 7.

Montreal has a good team, no doubt. And even better for them is an overall weak Eastern conference and history: Remember when a couple of other rookie goaltenders started for the Habs in the playoffs? It could be Price's turn this year.
However, they have to get past a very good Penguins team.
In the West San Jose is getting attention but in 10 years of playoff appearances they've made it out of the 2nd round exactly once. They are world-class playoff chokers. Detroit is still too soft and Anaheim looks solid to repeat, as hard as that is.
So as boring as it is, I'll be expecting a Penguins/Ducks final. Dark horses: NY Rangers, Washington, Colorado.Comment

Hockey is fast Baseball is NOT! Hockey is tough Baseball is NOT! Hockey is 60 minutes of non stop action Baseball is 9 innings of boring punishment! Hockey is addictive Baseball is NOT!.. imo
No one compared hockey to American Football though! Still i prefer Hockey over it and i think it is a tougher game, but that's debatable.
