Being a Montrealer, I can't entertain the idea of anyone other than the Habs winning.

An average NFL Stadium holds 65.000 fans. The biggest Hockey rink holds +/- 23.000 and that's the Bell Center in Montreal. Each NFL game holds up to 3 times more fans in stadium than an NHL game. Do the maths.

An NHL season is 82 games, an NFl is 16 games, you want to tell me that an NFL player has a much tougher job then an NHL player? A 6"4 230 Pounds guy on skates and ice can do more damage then a 6"4 230 Pounds of meat running at 10 K/H on grass, i think, don't you? You say Hockey is like figure skating, it shows that you don't know what you are talking about.

It takes 4 series of best of sevens for a team to win the Stanley Cup and that's after a long season of 82 games! I think Hockey is not for pussies and every person who knows hockey agrees, but you obviously don't know hockey which means that you are in the wrong thread. :2 cents:

It's time the Cup came back to Montreal.. its rightful owner! :) Funny about EA... I played the whole regular and post dynasty season on nhl 08 and my habs ended up playing and beating San Jose in 5! ;) So those are the teams I'm seing in my Playoff Pool this year! :D

i gave myself a day to think about which east team will go the distance. if those are the stats of the Habs vs pens and ny, then that reinforces my decision made that NY will make it to the stanley cup finals.
