Jeff K Scott: we host over 4 million websites so it's possible
Customer: is that correct?
Jeff K Scott: what is your issue?
Customer: this site has literally taken every adult site in the industry, including ours and is telling surfers they can buy passwords to our site
Jeff K Scott: we don't host just websites, we are in the business of selling dedicated servers, a lot of our customers are resellers that host single websites from those dedicated servers
Customer: i can start with about 10 things that make this illegal
Jeff K Scott: you can report any illegal activity to [email protected]
Jeff K Scott: they will investigate the issue and go from there
Customer: is there a phone number, you will want to rectify this before the lawsuits begin
Jeff K Scott: there is nothing i can do to help you
Customer: phone number?
Jeff K Scott: there is no phone number for abuse, i can tell you that they reply very quickly
Jeff K Scott: you can also copy [email protected] as well
Jeff K Scott: please include the IP of the site that is committing the illegal acts
Jeff K Scott: i promise you that your issue will be addressed promptly

Well it's about leaving a trail and trying to do things properly.

If they do not reply a mass DMCA will be the next step.

They cannot ignore DMCA

It seems like they would need a hell of a server cluster to keep the members areas of 12k sites.

The site is porn-catalogue not porn-catalog. porn-catalog is just a parked domain and theplanet hosts it. porn-catalogue is hosted by a company in Hong Kong that hosts spam.

Do a little research next time.

its a surfer scam. 90% sure of it. no way they can issue universal passes. my guess is they have skimmed of fhgs and/or leeched members areas.

no way they are issuing passes "one pass for all sites"

how would they write it to the PW files through a biller?

i think they grabed content by signing up for the site and downloading it or like a previous poster said using FHG

It's 100% possible to direct _all_ their users over _1_ legal account on each paysite..

CMS's and members area software would catch things like that. Flags should be set if more than say 3 logins come from 3 different ip's in X amount of hours.

Yes ofcourse. But it's possible to direct all logins over 1 ip when they use a proxy.. But that will cost alot of bandwidth..
