How is allergy season where you live?

Here in Austin, allergy season is relative as it kinda lasts all year long lol...

April showers bring much more than May flowers for me.

Going to Phoenix last week I got major relief, but the spring months are always the worst for me. If it blooms, grows, pollinates, etc... I'm sneezing. It's weird that it seems to be getting worse as I get older... thought it would be the other way around.

Oh well... June can't come soon enough for me. The heat will kill it off.

      Do you take medication?

Ya know... I've never tried that before JayDeeZee. I switch off between zyrtec and claritin since they are both over the counter. I also get blemishes on my face where my sweat glands are... I look like a goddamn tomato after mowing the yard LOL... For that I use elidel. Do you ever have to deal with that?

For me, they are really really bad this year. The other day, they were so bad, I was having problems breathing. My chest was so tight, it felt like someone was standing on it.

I had to go with Singulair because things like Claritin make me really loopy (even more so than usual) and the side effects of most allergy medications are worse than the allergies themselves...

No, I just sneeze. But it's not the odd sneeze, I'm talking violent, debilitating, shirt-drenching sneezes. I have to pull my car over every time they start. My wife counted 33 consecutive sneezes one time.

Give Pycnogenol a shot, its an all natural pine extract.

Pycnogenol alleviates Allergies (by stabilizing the Cell Membranes of Mast Cells, causing them to be less reactive to Antigens and decreasing the ease with which they release their stored Histamine).

Mate I went an allergist years ago and had a course of shots over a period of 2 years the shots contained small amounts of things you are allergic to, for me that was around 15 different things, now I am only allergic to 1 tree and some dust that normally only lasts around 2 weeks every spring. I take Claritin for that and nasal spray. And yes I would get big red marks all over my body if I cut any type of grass. Don?t ask me the name of the treatment because I can?t remember

You can get it over the counter at most any big pharmacy here in Canada. Including Wal-mart.
