People who hold up those signs or say things like "God told me to attack Iraq" are radical christian protestants, mainly Baptists and the sort. Christianity in the united states is a complete distortion of what Jesus originally taught. Jesus lived among outsiders, so how a handful of idiots wants to interpret his teachings should not represent the real, positive aspects of the religion.

The problem is how Muslims interpret the Quran. Christians understand it is a question of faith, Muslims will tell you it is an absolute. It is not a question of belief but of knowing. And if you don't know then your heart does not have the will to see God. They site the passages in the Quran that describe the different phases of pregnancy and the fact that the Quran is PERFECT grammatically. Disprove those and the religion will collapse. To the Quran's credit though, no one has been yet able to declare it imperfect.
Am I the only one that hangs out in Islamic chat rooms? You have to understand your enemy to defeat him. Not saying that all muslims are our enemies but it certainly goes well beyond a fringe group.
