    WARNING To Google AdWords Customers!! (PHISHING EMAILS)

    I just received a phishing email that appears to come from Google AdWords asking me to update my billing info. The email appears very authentic, however, I noticed it was sent to an email address that isn't the one I use for AdWords.

    The link in the email points to a .cn web site.

    I'm sure most of you here are smart enough to detect a phishing email, but no harm in posting a warning. Of course, if you aren't an AdWords customer you aren't likely stupid enough to try and update your billing there, are you ;)

      Yeah, they are done by a pro. It's being sent to one of my addresses that was compromised in the NATS leak. Someone clearly knows this data is valuable.

            my wife has gotten phished like 3 times She always enter her info, then calls me at work....

            WIFE: honey, Yahoo just asked me to update my user name and password...and I want to make sure it was really them

            ME: Why dont you call me BEFORE you enter your info? You can tell buy looking at the domain, I.M. me the url of the join form

            WIFE (via IM) http://www.yahoo.iuysre400-09999kiuyexxxxxx.com

            ME: AHHHH! SHIT!

            WIFE: DONT GET MAD AT ME...it says Yahoo

            ME (to keep my life stress free) Ya, you're right, I guess it does. Thats a really good one. I hope they havnt gotten me.

                yeh i've had them too.
                I also get a paypal one on a daily basis to an email thats never even been used on paypal
