How much does it cost to move big trees?

I know after a certain height they cannot be moved but if anyone has any experience where they can tell me how much it cost them to move a tree and give me the height of the tree I would appreciate it.

Let me know if you bought the tree or if you just moved it from one spot to another.

I bought 5 - 14' white pines last year and they were $350 ea. That included a 2 year guarantee.

I can say prices vary by location and tree type. My wife does landscaping. She has moved tree's as tall as 25 feet in height before. Tree's of that size however come with zero warranty as the larger a plant, shrub, or tree is the less likely it is to survive transplanting. If the trunk is over 3 inches in diameter then you are looking the need for special equipment to boot which drives the price up.

You will want to do this is spring or fall only. You also should know that container grown tree's are more likely to survive over wild tree's. Nursery tree's are often specially grown with their root balls properly clipped so that when you get them around 75% of their root ball is intact, in a ground tree (aka wild) your lucky to get 25%.

I could go on but I need to know tree types etc. BTW 100 a foot is insane
