    The US presidential elections: what will happen

    Obama will become the presidential candidate. Clinton knows that. Obama will in all likelihood lose against McCain. Clinton knows that too. She is now campaigning for 2012, since McCain will get raped by the current economic crisis when he becomes president.

    In 2012, Clinton will have the benefit of the "we should have voted for Clinton in the primaries"-democrats, as well as the "we should have voted for a democrat"- independents.

          how can you people seriously vote republican again?

          Don't you owe to humanity at least that? Are your personal political beliefs about whatever the fuck you think these people are actually helping you with anyways more important than fixing the mistakes you made the last two times this happened?

          I mean c'mon.. the republican's didn't even TRY to take care of Katrina, and left you with a gaping economic situation. And you're going to sign your name to... more?

                          Although I personally do not believe Obama to be a racist, I do think that line of reasoning will convince many people not to vote for him. Also, it will give people who are somewhat racist against blacks an internal justification not to vote for him.

                          Of course, in the general election, Obama will get close to 100% of the black vote, but that won't be enough for the votes he loses from whites who have an irrational uneasy feeling about voting for a black man.
