If a transporter is ever created it will discredit Christianity

Christians believe that all humans have a living soul. So if we are able to ever create a functional transporter (like the ones in Star Trek) that disassembles matter and reassembles it aka transports it to another place then Christianity will be discredited.

Right?

No as nothing really can.
Even if we create life which we are damn close to doing already. If interested check out the information found with the spark of life and comets. It shows how we are already creating complex proteins. Back to what I was saying, if we even create life they will either adapt or deny its principles. As you really can not prove nor disprove a issue like religion.

They have withstood evolution, carbon dating, astronomy, and a shit load of other sciences. The smart just adapt and will tell you that yes the bible is not literal, which many of the scholars agree. Then the others will stick their fingers in their ears and scream lalalalala and then quote the bible at you.

Yeah, believers will always believe. That is where the "faith" part comes in...

Was waiting for that. Go ahead look at the blue prints since obviously you invented them.

I don't think creating a Transporter is really needed to discredit Christianity.

Nah see that just discredits a passage or two in the bible and not god. Smart little faithfull people understand its written by man and is not literal and is also filled with stories that are assorted parts of history adapted for morals.

We are talking thousands of years for a transporter to be created that can disassemble and rebuild a human. Life will have to be very, very different for them to even accept this technology in the first place.

by time a transporter will be created I'm sure there'll be a thousand other things to discredit every religion shit there seems to some attempt at it daily...

if you believe in god I don't think there's really anything science can do about it.

I think you make a lot of assumptions about how a transporter would work and how it would relate to one's soul.

My mom told me today that the human body has mass that can't be quantified by science. If you weigh all the bones, organs, etc before death and just after, there are some ounces lost. What can't they weigh, you ask?

The soul..

*barf*

The science Christians come up with, while ignoring so much other science that contradicts their sacred book.

Besides, even if you were to show all the Christians undeniable, physical proof that their story didn't happen at all how they say it did, they wouldn't believe you anyways. They would just go on believing, because they have "faith", and that faith can't be shaken by anything science, history or common sense can come up with.

I live with a bible thumper, tell me about it. NOTHING will sway them. it only makes them stronger and more determined.

What I see happening is we will continue on with AI, there was a breakthrough just this week with molecular (damm spelling) level switching and brain mimicing, and connectivity issues. Then we watch today as new plasitc polymers are now a FACT that mimic muscle movments and can be laced over a skeleton frame to create a lilfe like and moving "thing" combine the AI singularity thats going to happen in the next decade with fully anatomically correct robotic stuctures and you have a living thing almost.

eventually the new AI will be able to fine tune this organism and each will become unique to themselves.

Who know, maybe we'll be able to imprint our thought patterns an memories onto these new beings and in essence live forever. Till at some point down this evolutionary tree the newself that we have become, decides our bodies are to rigid and stuctured and our latent brain patterns yearn for the animal part (racial memories theory) and decides to constuct a living being to place thier now complex minds into to be reborn as tada... humans.

Ok, thats a movie script.. line start to the right.... hahaha - I'm bored.

and yeah, I didnt spell check. Its 4 am almost.

We will see who laughs last once I figure out how to teleport women onto my penis.

I will get super laid and have a new reality niche to boot.
