    Outlook 2007 VS. Outlook 2003

I just upgraded my office suite and am noticing that outlook 2007 is much slower than the previous version I used to use. Is there any way to optimize or speed things up at all?

Why do all the new versions of windows products suck? I am running this on an xp box...I hated Vista on all the machines I have ever tried it on. I am getting the same kind of feeling with the new outlook etc.

Is it me or should I go back to 2003?

I have used it in the past but do not like it as much as I do outlook.

yeah, hell, 2003 is noticeably slower than office XP. You don't really need anything more than office 97 now do ya?

Even after saying that I use office 2007 simply because its prettier LOL I don't care too much about the speed because I have a core 2 and 4Gb RAM but it certainly is noticeably slower than office 2003

Why upgrade if you're fine with what you have? Coming from MS it's no surprise the new version of Outlook will consume all your computer resources.
