    Tube8.com Theories (How did they?)

    How... in 5 months do you figure they did such a significant jump from 0 to 918 on Alexa (No comments about faking your Alexa stats please), with 0 backlinks in Google? I see a # of links coming from Yahoo, but 0 in Google.

    I'm curious about your theories on how this is done.

    It seems shady.

                                                              Yep, those tubes unfortunately don't need google kick off, and once they grow, they gain links at the speed of light. Same with youporn, redtube, etc.

                                                              Redtube has has many backlinks in yahoo as the hun, youporn almost double the ammount. Keeping in mind how long they are in business and how long the hun is, it shows how insane their growth is.

                                                                  The people behind tube8 have a huge advertising budget, and buying advertising isnt normally done through hardlinks so its not a surprise they dont have a ton, although google link checker isnt updated in real time anyway.
