I hope your joking or being sarcastic.
Just think for a small moment, assuming some aliens figured out how to overcome the stresses of long term weightless travel on a body and that silly problem about fuel needed to either perform some kind of worm hole or faster than light travel since light speed is not fast enough. Why would our government just be copying designs to use in airplanes? Why not the whole fuel issue, hell it would salvage the economy overnight and make us an ubber country again if we cracked the fuel issue. -

Well then obviously since it takes SO FUCKING LONG to get here that the designs have changed but since their technology kept naturally increasing thus allowing them to get here faster they all started to arrive at roughly the same times.
I have watched shows on discovery and such. I also watch shows on space travel, physics, and all that other crap.

err actually no I feel that is near beyond highly improbable that they can get here.
However assuming they could I am saying that yes they all could be from one planet. We have a few options.
1. They have different space craft makers akin to our GMC, Ford, Mercedez, etc.
2. Technology has changed so that a craft that left 100 years ago to get here was built 100 years ago. However 90 years ago they created a new model that could get them here in 90 years, and again they did it 50 years ago and it only took them 50 to get here. So that they all actually arrive at roughly the same time from the same planet.
Oh and if they look different I suppose that is also like if someone met an Asian and then an African.Comment

For all we know, Earth is like some terrarium that alien visitors come by to look at for slap-stick entertainment, or to study our primitive ways.
Of course, the UFOs seen could be some sort of unmanned probes to examine our environment.
If they are 'manned spacecraft', whoever is aboard would most likely not have some primal urge to destroy the hairless chimp tribes. Such advanced beings would probably just want to observe our civilization though, studying us, running experiments on us and other Earth dwellers.Comment
