I just followed up on my source of this info, and it turns out you are right...rumor has it, from what I understand, it is up in the air between New Orleans and Chicago

i have always wanted to go to New Orleans and so sad I never got to see it in it's original, historical state before Katrina. i hope it's in the fall

Please people stop doing shows. We have enough. All it does at this point is dilute the tradeshow market within the business and make it harder for people throwing shows to get sponsorships to recoup costs of throwing a show. all these shows are working against the purpose of having shows, to bring people together. with 35 shows a year its spreading people out more.

I totally agree with Airek. In the last year I have been to Cybernet Tampa, The Phoenix Forum, Internext Las Vegas, Internext Fort Lauderdale, Xbiz Las Vegas, X Biz Los Angeles and Webmaster Access West.

If you add the big consumer I go to like Erotica LA, Adult Entertainment Expo and Exotica Miami there is no way I could attend any more shows.

if someone does a second show like that in late summer or autumn it can be successful, why not

i've never been to the xbiz summer show, so i can't say anything about that. but vegas with 120 degrees does not sound very appealing when you are used to 90 max. like me ;)
and i prefer shows in places that are closed to the public - but open for guests, especially girls

and no offense AVN, but especially that policy might kill the Internext in Florida if someone offers an alternative with free eye candy attendance, a cheaper ticket price and a bar that is open after 1 am

Here's another hint for FL Internext - Room service is available 24/7. And they don't have to deliver it to your room. Sitting in the lobby and want a drink? Call room service, order, tell them where you are and tip well. Obviously you can also get food this way too. It ain't cheap but I've seen people spend $100+ on a bottle of vodka at last call so they can keep drinking at the hotel ;)
