Bashbug & jcsike - Correct, we do not use Limelight or Akamai any longer. We use our own technology that integrates the CDN with your existing Webair account seamlessly, or we can set you up utilizing our CDN on any hosting account you may have elsewhere.

The Webair CDN offers PUSH Technology which gives the customer more control over the content on the CDN & allows for instant content updates without having to change meta tags or waiting for cache timeouts. This model allows for increased redundancy & security over traditional CDN models as well. Additionally, from a pricing perspective alone I think you will find our offer more attractive than Akamai or LLN.

However, if you are a Webair client the CDN is integrated directly into the Webair Control Panel. The main differences in technology between our CDN to that of Level 3 is we PUSH technology to sync your CDN source
with ALL servers on the network around the world instantly. With Level 3 you have to wait for cache expire and configure your meta tags to time out accordingly. Additionally, with our CDN your content is duplicated and stored across ALL of the nodes that are currently on our network for fastest possible delivery. The CDN technology we are use is also brand new... Level3 is using an old CDN network which was built over 10 years ago.
