I actually see this all over the place, all the time.

If you run firefox with noscript, almost all redirect sites stop and you can see text like this. Often it has the direct domain names, keywords they target, model names, ect.

I have a listing of 1000's of redirect domains (i'm sure several are dead now) from a few months back. Some people do some killer redirects
