You Seen The Movie "Stir Crazy"?

This is one of my favourite movies. Arguably, the best they ever did (Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor)...... Two friends get framed for a bank robbery and end up in prison. Its fuckin' hilarious, you just got to see it if you havent already.

You can see these two clips, it wont spoil the movie:

lol, I saw it on HBO when it was just out on cable back when I was a kid in school, loved it, one of the first few movies I saw that had boobs, and was funnier than hell.. what a great comedy duo!

I saw that movie way the hell back when I was a kid and VHS was the new and exciting thing. By far one of the best movies I saw way back then.

Laughed my ass off when the dude farted while they were doing the body cavity search and they hauled him off to the electric chair and it was like a bar or something.

He sure did a lot of coke during that movie. Here's a back stage video of him on the "Stir Crazy" set doing coke:

I saw it at the original cinema release. I should get it on DVD.

Didn't they make a TV series out of it, with different actors?

He also became ill. One can't just take coke and all of a sudden become talented. You have to already have a talent for comedy or whatever. The coke will only give you more drive. And I believe that is why so many comedians did that back in the day. That is why the original SNL cast passed the stuff around to each other. They did it to keep them going, not to make themselves funnier. They were already funny.

Reminded me of Robin Williams. I heard people say they hated working with him because he never shut up.

I don't know if it was coke or just his personality.

I think he was a trained opera singer or something, he played Dynamo in The Running man, but died a few years ago.
