Word Press Question
I have an issue going on with a blog, and I am not sure where to start trying to troubleshoot it.
I have an index.htm page that has no links to allow entrance into the site. I have an index.php page is the front page of the blog. For now, it's only purpose is to pull feeds from an ebay store/listings. It was working fine. And the feed appears to be coming in as it should. But I can no longer access any of the pages except for the first one. When I try to see the archives it goes to a 404 page. Any clues on what I've done to mess things up? I'm kind of puzzled, since I don't really do anything with the blog itself. One more bit of information is that I did install oscommerce on the domain to start learning it, so I'm not sure if the two are in conflict somehow.

I'm guessing something in the URL structuring part, the portion of the admin where you tell it to do SEO URLs or leave it for numbered ones, maybe. That's where I would look first to troubleshoot anyway.

Probably your permalinks, make sure your .htaccess it writeable, change them to what they were normally, and then CHMOD your .htaccess back to 644. That will probably fix your issue.

Thanks guys and gals, I'll mess with the permalinks and see what happens. I just don't know why it changed from working smoothly to being fubared without me making any changes.
One of the great mysteries of the internet. ;) Thanks for the help, I could not step back from it enough in my mind to being to be able to figure it out.
