Looking to rent a server, something just to run a little blog and a portfolio.
Something that is reliable and works.

Price is not an issue, although low cost reliability is preffered

So spam me with any recommendations please!

Also i have a little rant about my previous experience with a company.

I recently signed up for a company here (wont mention the name yet) and so far i have been nothing but disapointed with the service.

Not only did it takes best part of 2 days to setup the server, when it finally got setup, there was an error in the control panel (which has still not been resolved)

I am now in to the 3rd day of owning it and its been down twice already.
Occasionally it will load, other times it wont and occasionally i have to use a proxy to view it.

Some times the email wont work, some times it will.

I sent myself an email yesterday just containing the words "test" so it was very small in size and i got it this morning!
talk about fucking snail mail :|

I have them on icq and have messaged them for the past 3 days running and got not one reply.

I have emailed them this morning but what good is email when i cant access my damn email?!

I finally get a day free to do some shit online and i cant because i cant access the fucking server

It doesn't sound like you need much power at all so maybe our $79.00 entry level managed box will suit you. We also have some unpublished deals going on.

brad and his team rock, in the 2 days it took your host to get the server up Brad and his team copied our old server scripts everything made everything work and worked on it 24/7 OVER the weekend zero downtime - thats what I call service

wait till you see their backend - if you submit a ticket YOU decide how important it is, if its important like hell itll page their tech guys 24/7

never seen that before and I can tell you were more then satisfied

if you need anything hit me up im more then happy to tell you - from a satisfied customer pov - why you should choose for them

Ask for a refund on your current server, the company is obviously not performing to your reasonable expectations.

I recently moved away from OC3 and a few other hosting companies and went with Techiemedia. So far the price has been great, the hardware is fantastic and support responds within minutes.
