I took digital camera photos of an officer parked in my driveway. Turns out he was looking for a murderer in my area with my description, however, our hair wasn't the same, but we worked in the same building.

No they were not, they didnt even arrest ANYONE but this guy... the "rug dealer" was never arrested or found, which is why they started attacking this guy.

Well, in this certain instance, the cops are arresting the guy because he had photographed undercover vehicles, because they didn't want the bad guys to find out. Yet they serve the warrant to the bad guys using the undercover car. So it is obvious that the whole 'keep the undercover car a secret' thing is just a bullshit story to harass a guy that was doing something they didn't like.
I'm not bashing cops, I grew up with both parents as cops. But if you are doing something they don't like, even if it's not against the law, they can give you a hard time if they want to.Comment

They get bent out of shape for having a photo taken, but... how is that any different than survielance footage?
If a business or your home has security cameras installed and they come on your property it takes video footage of them and their vehicles. I can't recall ever hearing about cops crying about that, yet if someone takes a pic with a camera they come around playing the role over it?
