That's pretty harsh don't you think? just colocated at another host they appear to have a decent reputation from what I've seen.:2 cents: So todays downtime is just one of those "Shit Happens" days for them.

Glad I did not go with them :)I looked at them in the beginning and spent more money at colo because Greeenie is over there, I trust Greenie so I followed his lead. Now Colo is my host forever. Mainstream too. I have some partitions that make me cash there. So woot woot

Downtime sucks obviously, but all hosting companies have had downtime from time to time and this was scheduled after all. NakedHosting may not be the premier hosting company in adult, but they do fulfill a need for decent quality, very inexpensive hosting which makes it perfect for smaller webmasters, secondary hosting etc. http://www.iconwild.com/smilies/happ...smiley-030.gif

TeenRevenue seemed to be having some problems early this morning also. As far as Naked Hosting goes, I was just checking out their servers and I am glad I saw this thread before deciding. :thumbsup

so we were all forewarned. No problem. The world is not going to end because of 6 hours downtime.
From where I am all, all is working just as it should now and I expect it to. I've never had service or hosting as good as that I get from Naked before.
Show me a host that doesn't have downtime once in a while (that tell you beforehand), that offers as much as they do for the competitive prices they do.

already 1 hour our server mysql down today...

Hosting is the last place to be saving money these days.

Did they get your server fixed yet?

Finally it took 6 hours of mysql downtime again. As i checked stats mysql was down 1 hour before i mentioned, i waited other 1 hour before contacting support and they reacted and restarted mysql after next 4 hours. Most of our applications hugely depend on mysql, so yesterday 6 hours down, today 6 hours down --> most of tgp trades are dead.

Yes, i know i pay $79 for server i should have pay $150 with any other company. But believe me i would rather pay those $150 if i could be 99.9% sure this does not happen. But looks like servers are very unstable nowadays anywhere and high price does not asure quality, often it may just mean they want quick and easy money from just few people and they do not know what to do if you get in troubles.

So we decided to keep nakedhosting for some more time. Perhaps just 2 very bad days. But if we get one more 6 hours long downtime this week then it is sure i ask here to recommend another host.
