Oil price hits new high of $110 a barrel with no sign of a fall

The oil price hit a new record for the fifth consecutive trading session, coming within a whisker of $110 a barrel, as the International Energy Agency warned there was little prospect of energy costs falling far.

The oil industry equals the people because most if not all companies are owned by the public...in that they have stock holders. Virtually everyone with a 401K or an IRA have stock in oil companies. I am retired and the closest I ever came to working for the oil industry was working at company owned Standard gas station...when I was younger. When did stating facts become..."defending them"?
