Does it matter where your local mysql host is located for seo purposes?

I have a blog on one local host and I wish to make a new blog to link to it, yet wish to pop it on the same local host, does this matter? Does google and co read the this part?

I think you are getting your terminology confused. Google or any search engine for that matter doesn't talk to the database, it only sees the site. The site is rendered from the database and outputted to html. The search engine never has any concept of a database.

I can't tell but you might be asking something else. If so, please clarify the question.

You need to change your mysql password to 'google' for google to be able to parse your site.
