What kind of server can I get for $99 per month?

Anyone, getting annoyed with my current host & lack of support. Had to get a colocated box reformatted & its been about a week now since they submitted the ticket.

This is crapola!

I'm looking for a dedicated server & I'll just ship the colos over later.

PacificRack has this on their site:

CPU1: Intel P4 2.8 Ghz
[1x2.8Ghz, 512KB Cache]
RAM: 1GB DDR
HDD: 120GB 7200RPM
Bandwidth: 2000GB
Switch Port: 100 Mbit
Unmanaged (but they offer $5 per incident support service)

well shit as long as they're good it don't bother me hehe... i just need something stable & a responsive group

the remote reboot and KVM over ip included in this package is awesome (maybe everyone offers that now, but my current host doesn't... time to upgrade!)

I have one of my servers there and have been very happy. Here is an ICQ for them 423989984 - not sure if they are on. Support tickets get answered in less than a minute typically. You can add mgmt to the server if you want.

Go with Pacificrack and you'll be looked after. The KVM over IP device is very handy when you botch something that stops your server booting (like I did when setting up hard drive mirroring), or you want to install the OS yourself from scratch.

PS: Alex, please reply to my ICQ and/or ticket...

tical, it looks like you have solved your problem but like we have talked about before, I would love to do business with you at some point. Please let me know in the future if you are looking to try something new.

For everyone else, I have a few servers available for $100 a month. And we also have our March Madness sale going on right now. First month free of all listed dedicated servers. That goes for servers with three Mbps or 100 Mbps, anything listed on our dedicated page, you get it for free.

I'm looking for one myself. I'm a low end user for bandwidth. I assumed these are unmanaged.

I prefer a managed solution because i'm not that tech savy.

I guess you cant beat the desperation deals! They must be pretty damn desperate for a sub $100 account to offer near 2 months free, would make me think twice about them!

He's talking about sales being slow to respond on the weekend, not support.
We have a large support department that is available 24x7, however its tough to find good sales guys

If you know of any send them our way

You are a complete Retard !! TechieMedia is one of the best hosts in the biz today no questions asked. You don't even know the deal whether it was sub $100 or if it were more, regardless these guys rock and anyone hosting with them is in very good hands.

JonClark you made a very good decision you will not regret it.
