In Honor Of Anal Hobbit, I Present:
Dinners for broke ass webmasters or people too lazy to go out to eat:
Part I: So, I am sitting at home on a Friday night. My bitch (I am refferring to a female (Juicy), not an oiled up 4 foot tall adonis) is out with her friends. Anywho, was going to go out to grab a bite to eat, but just wasn't in the mood to either, a) go pick something up or b) go sit in a restaurant by myself. So, looking through my pantry I find a pack of Lipton "Fiesta Sides", Taco Rice mix. I was in the mood for something spicy, so on a whim I created a new dish... Now, I love food but I am definately not a chef, so I figured I had a 50/50 chance of creating something tasty or something that tasted like shit... This time I was successful... So, here it is: 1) 1 Packet of Lipton "Fiesta Sides", Taco Rice mix (follow directions on packet) 2) After rice is finished add 1/8 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce 3) Add 1/2 pound of sauteed lean ground beef (I only use 90% lean) chopped. 4) Add 1/8 cup of Kroger brand buffalo wing sauce or hooters reg wing sauce (both because the vinegar content gives a nice taste) or any orange colored wing sauce. 5) Mix all together and you have a tasty treat that will give you 2-3 good sized snacks without a lot of fat or calories... let me know how it turns out if you try it.... |

Step aside Chef Boyardee, and try my possum stew. Trap your own, roadkill is not as good, break his neck by putting your foot on the possum's head and pulling up on his tail. Use boiling water to scald in a large pan, cut it into four parts. Add salt and boil the meat until tender. Make dumplings and add them slowly to the boiling meat. After the possum has boiled about an hour, put the parts into a baking dish. Peel sweet potatoes and slice them thick. Place the slices in the pan around the pieces of possum. Add onions if desired. Bake for 1 hour. This is a Sunday dinner for 12 people with the dumplings and well under $10.

My specialty:
Cook a box of Kraft Macaroni and Cheese as normal. BBQ a fresh Hungarian Sausage. Chop the Hungarian Sausage and mix with the Mac and Cheese. |
