How has this site lasted so long?

I see this guys galleries everywhere. He gives people free memberships to his site if they give him content (of themselves, yah sure). All his content is user submitted. He has no model IDs on file or proof of age of the models except that they told him they were over 18.

He's been around for quite a while...seems like you would just be asking for trouble doing a site like that.

By submitting my pictures to "Amateurs Homepage" I hereby certify, that all persons on the pictures were at least 18 years old at the time the photos were taken. All submitted pictures belong to me, or I have the permission to use them.The webmaster of "Amateurs Homepage" is not responsible for any bad experiences as a result of posting a personal ad on this site. By submitting my pictures to "Amateur´s Homepage", I have give the webmaster of "Amateurs Homepage" the permission to use my pictures for any purposes. I will not claim any copyright infringements and I will not sue him for using my pictures.

not sure... the site's running some pretty seriously vulnerable code. maybe someone's leaving it up so they have a jumping point to other servers or somethin.

If you have images being ripped off then contact the guy, otherwise I say mind your own business. We all know its very possible someone submits a copyright pic but the guy isn't trying to outright steal.

I spoke to a lawyer about this when I was running an escort site and posted pictures of the girls. He told me that I need them to sign a form he gave me and mail/fax it to me. He told me it was not legal just to say that they submitted their pics.

What if some jilted boyfriend put up a picture of his Ex and her famiily saw the pics?

What if someone put up a picture of an underage girl?

What if someone stole pics from sites and posted them.

You have to face the facts that the Internet is no longer a campus toy. It's a business and a very big business that needs to follow rules and laws.
