Is it time for the grownups to retake GFY?

It seems more than ever that we have lost the central point of this board, ADULT webmasters having a place to fuck around and having some good discussions that actually might have some benefit to the bottom line.

I'm certainly not saying we should all be bros or whatever, but there's a major difference between the old ynot, porncity, netpond, early gfy pissing matches and today's. Many times now it seems like its watching Mike Tyson fighting a handicapped kid, but I really think many of the newer generation of webmasters can benefit from the experience of some of us that have been around from early days.

I know this might be a futile effort, but I think that there's still enough webmasters and guys making money in this biz that we could make this place, somewhere that could be of more benefit to all of us...

So any other ADULT webmasters interested in bringing it back?

wont happen there would be like five people on the board. It's changed so dramatically since I first joined maybe it was because Lens was much more active it seemed back then.

Frankly, I think it says a lot when the board owner and staff rarely post.

Program owners don't post. Big site owners don't post. Content producers have really cut back.

It seems like most people that actually know a thing or two have gone on and spend their time doing more important and enjoyable things. I know that I don't spend a portion of the time here that I used to.

I doubt it will happen.

I've all but given up of having a decent thread here; the few times there are business threads, people either fall out of the way to suck eachother off, or some shithead derails it before it even starts.

I think its a matter of not responding and giving them fuel for their fire... Which I know is sometimes tough, hell enen I succumb sometimes like it Jet's thread where he calls Mojo a fake nic, but notice there's one in this thread and so far he has nothing else because no one responded...

But there was alot of people when we launched GFY said it was a wasted effort, so I do think it can turn around...

I've cut back. It may not look like it, but I spend about 1/3 the time here I did even 6 months ago. I'd rather refresh adwords 19 times a day than refresh here that many times now adays. At least that shows me things I want to see.

Now, as I am not a big GFY poster...more on that other board ;)..I must say this...for 1, the server here is too slow, it is one of the main reasons that keeps me away. I can't even wait when I am taking a shit, let alone to read about some sexy chick....I mean, come on people, we are in the fucking PORN industry!

But, the number one reason; is that I am actually too busy working to sit here and read about bullshit most of the day. Like Wizzo says, if there was more business being done, there would be much greater benefit to everyone involved.

But, I must say this, even though there is a ton of bullshit hidden under a ton of garbage here, there is a shit load of potential that can be gained from contacts alone on this board!
