But, the number one reason; is that I am actually too busy working to sit here and read about bullshit most of the day. Like Wizzo says, if there was more business being done, there would be much greater benefit to everyone involved. But, I must say this, even though there is a ton of bullshit hidden under a ton of garbage here, there is a shit load of potential that can be gained from contacts alone on this board! |

I look at gfy as the courtyard of Adult Webmaster High... there is a reason to be seen and to see what's going on, but the real deal goes down off the boards and the fortune is in the followup. That being said, the troll population is a bit scary.

I don't think it is an age issue. Most of us were young when we got started in this business. I don't think it's a "newbie" issue. We were all new once and this industry does need a flow of new ideas and people. I don't even think it is so much a "maturity" issue. Many of the successful people in this biz lack maturity in some sense of the word. (And that keeps it fun at times)
I think the problem this board has is the number of people here who aren't even in the industry and/or they don't take it seriously and treat it as a business. |

This board would likely improve 10 fold if they just got rid of the fucking contests. That would be a wonderful fucking start. I still can't believe that to this day sponsors haven't figured out the contest are a fucking joke full of leaches that couldn't send a sale if their life depended on it. |

Agreed wizzo, i do find a lot of useful info here, but the drama outweighs it all. Well put. I wasn't here in the beginning, but in the 2 years I have been here ive seen a lot of change.
