Uh, realize that Google is not really a Search Engine, but really a Global Advertising Network, and you'll hate them even more...Got a tube site? We build tube sites.

Thats a terrible fucking analogy. Defrag takes fragmented files and moves them to complete the files. The Search Engine is re-calculating its algorithms and ranking positions based on relevance not moving files the fuck around. You're trying to compare apples to oranges!Got a tube site? Back in the old days when 125 MB was a big drive it was a matter of moving things around so you could put the files together.Thats a terrible fucking analogy. Defrag takes fragmented files and moves them to complete the files. The Search Engine is re-calculating its algorithms and ranking positions based on relevance not moving files the fuck around. You're trying to compare apples to oranges!
If you ever sat and watched a defrag in process you would not think the analogy was that far off.Comment

You're thinking of it as a "Server" point of view instead of "Marketing" point of view. The algorithm is based on keyword relevancy and quality scores not where the files are be moved around to. So once again, get your fucking analogy right. It's more like "fishing" than "deframenting."
If you don't understand this concept than you probably need to first realize that Google really isn't a "Search Engine" in the true sense anymore, but is now more of "Global Advertising Network."Last edited by SpeedWacker; 03-08-2008, 10:07 PM.Got a tube site? We build tube sites.
