On Splum's point, I remember watching "Faces of Death" as a kid. I wonder where the slaughterhouse video came from given the US slaughterhouse laws. Coulda been anywhere or illegal from US I guess. It was incredibly graphic from what i remember though it was a long time ago. Animals throats cut as they hung upside down on a wire.
Even in the US today chickens can be killed live. They don't have to be stunned like cows. I guess it brings up the question of whether the chicken anticipates its own death. To what degree does an animal experience consciousness? Happy Thanksgiving. How about hunting? How about seal-clubbing? Canada allows something like hundreds of thousands of seals to be killed every year. How about shooting a deer with a bow and arrow and then walking up to it and cutting its throat so it bleeds to death? How about keeping animals locked up in cages for people to stare at? Maybe not as bad. Is it? If you start to think about all the animal cruelty out there well damn, we should all be joining PETA shouldn't we? Where DOES one draw the line? You gotta respect a vegetarian for their convictions. Me? I'm about to cook some scrambled eggs. Not much room to talk for me. No I wouldn't throw a puppy or a donkey off a bridge. What's the point? I've never hunted hunted. I don't even fish. I definitely wouldn't work in a slaughterhouse. I do know however that I must be supporting some cruelty when I eat chicken, beef, venison, ostrich, moose, bear, lamb and so on. |
Animal cruelty brings up a lot of interesting ethical questions. How many of you swatted a mosquito last summer? Put some ant killer on your lawn? How many of you use anti-biotics to kill living bacteria? Can't we all just get along?
It seems that for the most part most people place greater value on the lives of animals based on cuteness. Puppy > guinea pig > chickens > lizard > snake > mosquito and so on. But maybe it is more of our perception of their perceptions. Which animals suffer like us? Mammals, being most like us, are the most important and should be treated the most "humanely". Lizards and snakes? Damned cold-bloods! Here nature was cruel to those animals that aren't very expressive. Ever watch a snake kill a rabbit? That will turn your stomach. Is it cruel to feed a rabbit to a snake? Well, it is food right? It was damned difficult for me to watch. I know that. |
Damn those guys, they really don't value life, like those soldiers who threw a poor puppy of the cliff. Those type of vids really makes me mad!
|
No one wants to comment on the (presumably) military trucks going by in the background and not stopping this? ;-)

dude those guys was too bad:321GFY:321GFY:321GFY:mad::mad::mad:

Walk in front of a cop, pick up your dog and throw him into traffic. See what happens. If you can't see the difference between torturing animals for some sadistic enjoyment, and using animals for food / clothing out of necessity, then you are just being argumentative for the sake of arguing. Why are you perceiving this to be an anti-US thing, when it's obviously an "anti-cruelty against cute little puppies" thing? People would have been just as mad if the video showed some fat Canadian drinking Labatt's Blue throwing that dog off the top of a giant igloo. This has nothing to do with being anti-american at all. |
Actually is it possible that Splum is one of DarkJedi's nicks? I think this is his "pro-military / US rules" nick.
I think he made it to compete with theking back in the day, since he didn't like him stealing his thunder, and now he's seen that it was a good time to dust it off. Probably had to go back and dig up some more old ones since "hateman" was banned. It's amazing you can keep track of all those passwords. |
The puppy and the donkey are lucky they were seen on film to cause a big fight! But it's unfortunate shit like this happens everyday, everywhere!
|
Beast put up a fight. As stubborn as a mule.

since no one knows whether or not they ate the puppy or made clothing out of it, its really not fair to comment on the video. |

there were plenty of instances where UN troops were protecting people and were given the order to pull out, leaving everyone to be slaughtered. they were showing images of rivers full of bodies for weeks or months... but then of course... they were just people. brown people. i don't mean to compare them to puppies. |
You fuck knobs make such a big deal about what the soldier did, what he did was cruel.
However look at the video taken by those people showing how they treat cows before they get slaughtered and how people treat chickens which are being to be killed. Some of you need to get a grip |
they didnt eat the donkey?
man someone's whole village could have eaten that |
