Made a Zombie Short Film (Hotty in it)

Started shooting Drink of the Dead in October. Shot it in 720P HD with an HVX200. We thought about shooting 1080P but we did not care for the extra grain in the image that the camera produced.

Sadly the online video does not give the picture justice. As the effects look very weak. Once the contest is over I will be posting an H264 Quicktime so you can see the quality of the video and effects. Oh and if you ever need an After Effects artist give me a shout. Do both visual effects and motion graphics.

its only 3 mins.

i do it more for the challenge of making someting look good. as far as money goes for these kind of shorts there isnt much. you need a pretty impressive screenplay for it to go anywhere. then you could submit to the bigger festivals. then it could you might be able to make some green.

i can shoot and light to my hearts content. but post is my true passion. been using after effects for clost to 5 years now. ill toot my horn and say im a guru in it now. it kills me to watch the low res vid that they compress it to.
