dreamhost is good for newbies who don't have a clue... at one point I was one of them.... but horrible with overselling their shared servers, I snooped around my virtual directory one time and counted about 400 domains on my machine... so don't get excited about bandwidth allocation... you'll be shut down way before you even get close....i like wafflesComment

I would think a host wouldnt even bother with a 10 buck account. After you deduct data center costs, tech support and a zillion other expenses the host is totally in the negative then this Negative profit customers are typically the first ones to run to a board if there is ever an issue, and that leads to negative publicity for any potential larger money making customers that host may have ever gotten.

If you don't plan to have a lot of files on your site I would go with hostgator but if you go over 50,000 files you can have your account suspended. (It is very easy with blogs)
7b.) INODES
The use of more than 50,000 inodes on any shared account may potentially result in suspension. Accounts found to be exceeding the 50,000 inode limit will automatically be removed from our backup system to avoid overusage. Every file on your account uses up 1 inode.
Simply exceeding the limit does not constitute grounds for suspension however accounts that constantly create and delete large numbers of files on a regular basis or causing file system damage may cause your account to be flagged for review.Comment
